Starting @ 11am from April until early May this guided 5-hr trip is Southern Ontario’s best whitewater rafting. It is not the turbulence of the Ottawa River… but it is fun…it is wilderness…and it is close!
The Nith River has swifts and long pools… drifting through a maze of cliffs and valleys… shrouded in the midst of the Carolinian Forest. Wildlife is abundant here… wild turkeys…grey deer… soaring red-tails.This is a place where the stillness of the land becomes part of you.
But quietness ends… there is a roaring dragon in the distance.. the approach of the Great Divide… enter the mouth… ride the 3 kilometer tongue of waves and spray... scale up and down… flee across the wings… race the escape to the Grand.
This trip happen in a breath of time… the river drifts by… and so do you… enjoy!
