Our 24ft Voyageur canoes are four feet wide…so stable you can stand up in them! And with 12 people paddling…they glide across the water! Our two big canoes are excellent for small corporate & group touring events… day time or evening.

The 8 mile Cayuga Run travels the historical 1800’s gypsum barge route of the Grand River Valley. Learn how Paris got it’s name…see a horizontal shaft of an old gypsum mine started in 1850 but not developed until 1890”s. Visit the ruins of an old gypsum plaster mill … see the raceway and dam remnants. Travel further and see the remains of a corduroy road that once carried gypsum wagons.

Drink from cool ground springs…delight in the taste. Picnic on the beautiful 5 acre Sarah’s Island… visit a working water ram with no hydro from the early 1900’s…be amazed at it’s simplicity… feel the ground shake as it pounds! Then paddle to your final destination… our riverside campsites at the Brant Park to head home or have our catered hamburg or steak barbeques. (3-hr guided paddle)
