Learn to paddle fast water. Start out doing a dry-land review on types of boats, safety and paddle strokes. Then move into the water to practice steering. But the real teaching is learning to read the river. The groups are kept small (4 -5 people) to insure good interaction. As the swifts/pools are paddled, the instructor stops to discuss group options. Hearty Lunch Included!

At the end of the trip we run the “flume”, this is a 3-kilometer ride of fun. Be amazed at your own boldness, get wet by the spray, shoot through. Gain a confidence that was not there.
