This course is an introduction to the most practical and modern types of Eskimo rools performed for self-rescue purposes, by sea and whitewater kayakers. No kayaking experience necessary. Participants must be comfortable holding their head underwater, and show up with the required equipment. |

This course provides an introduction to canoe tripping for Level 1 candidates with little or no tripping experience. Emphasis is on canoe camping skills and safety. For Level II candidates with experience, this course will enhance their leadership ability and challenge them with coordinating the course canoe trip, stressing oganization, safety, leadership, and risk crisis management. Maximum of 8 participants. |
