This is an historical guided kayak trip is for the experiential. Drink from springs… visit an old mine… stand in southern Ontario’s coldest creek… see an old corduroy road. Set up base camp at the Brant Conservation Area. Then move out and explore each day. On the first two days paddle the best sections of the Grand River. Your guide will give you a taste of everything… from wilderness to historical. Each day is a 5 hr journey of kayaking & hiking. On the third day we paddle the Myth of the Nith… this beautiful narrow river is so serene yet it has thrilling swifts and pools… at the end surprise yourself… with the assistance of your guide…run a 3 km section of fast water. This is a trip you will talk about.

From a base camp at Brant Conservation your guide will introduce you to 3 sections of the Grand River.
Day one is the historical paddle of the valley… an insight into the past.
Day 2 is an aboriginal paddle and tour of a 17th century Iroquoian village called Kanata.
Day 3 is a wilderness paddle on the most beautiful part of the Grand. Enjoy the swifts and long pools… beautiful.
Or bike the rail trail for the third day.
