Instructional Kayak Flat Water Lessons

Just 1 hour west of Toronto Ontario Canada

An introductory course where you learn as you paddle. This course starts on the pond-water above the dam at the Brant Conservation Area - a perfect spot to get accustomed without river current. Your instructor will teach safety and let you practice all the basic steering strokes.

When you feel comfortable shuttle upstream to paddle down a gentle section of the Grand River with your instructor coaching. This is a very scenic section that is rich in history. Your instructor will show you how to navigate: you’ll learn to spot the rocks as you approach and avoid shallows.

When done this course you will be able to maneuver with confidence on flat lake water or gentle rivers. It may also give you wanting to try the more daring fast water course!

This course is offered every Sunday at 9:00am or any other day for groups of 4 or more!

Cost $119/person.
* includes: instruction, shuttle service, lunch & rental of all equipment (boat, paddle, PFD)
