Explore the wild, remote and mysterious passageways of Big Creek, Canada's southern-most canoe route. Paddling Big Creek feels like the Amazon or one of its tributaries with a basin of deeper than 5 feet, slow moving water concealing a constellation of fish, turtles and other creatures. Overhanging Willow trees and other large Carolinian trees towering from the depths of the waters give this special place an exotic mangrove aura. Big Creek feeds directly into the UNESCO World Biosphere protected tall grass marshes of Long Point and then the Inner Bay near the Old Cut.
Our guided trip is a full five-hour day paddle that is a true eco-adventure. Guided fishing tours are also available. Inquire for details.
