The Paddle & Play Package is great for corporate events based on recreation or incentive programs. The fully customizable Package features a full-day event with river paddling as well as on-shore recreation. A barbeque is included.
We start by meeting your group at our Brant Conservation Area location, then shuttle you to our Paris location. We launch your group from our docks on the river for a two & a half hour leisure paddle back to Brant Park. This part of the river is scenic and filled with wildlife such as Great Blue Herons, Ospreys, and Painted Turtles, despite it’s proximity to civilization. It is also important historically: your guide will tell you why, pointing out landmarks as they appear.
When your group arrives back at Brant Park we can have a barbeque already ready. Eat, and then have the rest of the day to explore the park. Some may wish to paddle more around the numerous islands, as the river becomes more lake-like after you enter the park. Additionally, you can take advantage of the large pool and splash pad. Baseball and Soccer facilities are available on-site.
This trip can be upgraded to include our Experienced River Guides, who will make your adventure more enjoyable plus catch the few paddlers that may stray off-course. Our knowledgeable and friendly guides are the best in the business and will point out things you will miss on your own, such as the flora, fauna, wildlife, and historical sites. They can take you for a hike on a trail along the river valley or direct you to fishing holes. The addition of a guide can really make a difference to those wanting the ‘next level’ out of their experience.
Once at the park, we can also offer you group facilitators to organize events for your group, including: * water-balloon volleyball, * Scavenger hunts
The whole Paddle & Play Package is $64 /person with river trip, all equipment, expert guides, BBQ, use of Brant Park & Grand Pavilion, plus facilitated on-shore activities included. The Basic Barbeque consists of hamburgers, hotdogs, potato salad, macaroni salad, juice, soft drinks, bottle water
Different cost options include:
• $26/person self-guided Basic canoe trip on a different section of river (without use of Brant Park or BBQ)
• $39/person self-guided canoe trip & BBQ (hamburger/hotdog) & use of Brant Park
• $59/person Guided River Trip* & BBQ & use of Park *choice of Canoes, Voyageur Canoes, Rafts •
BBQ upgrades:
+$7/person - chicken/sausage-on-bun, potato & macaroni salads, fruit, desert, juice, soft drinks, bottled water
+$15/person - steak & chicken BBQ, caesar salad, choice of bean, potato &/or macaroni salads, fresh fruit, desert, juice, soft drinks, bottled water. PLUS bottled water and snack on River Trip.
Note: all equipment included - premium ultra-lite 16ft. canoes, PFDs, paddles. We also provide very stable river touring kayaks for $10/person extra.
