Offered: July 26 & July 27, 2009 July 25 & 26 - Paddle to the Six Nations ‘Champion of Champions’ Pow-Wow in Chiefswood Park. Come with us in our 12 person ‘war canoes’, or follow us in your own boat as we head into the tranquil waters of the Grand, in Six Nations Territory. Come and see native dancers from across the continent compete in intricate dances to traditional live music. Try delicious foods you've probably never had the opportunity to sample before. Be sure to bring your camera! Currently, we are offering two time slots for our Paddle the Pow Wow trip - 9:00 AM for a Grand Entry at 12:00 PM, and 3:00 PM for a Grand Entry at 7:00 PM. If there is enough interest, we will also offer a Paddle the Pow Wow trip at 10:30 AM for the same Grand Entry at 12:00 noon. Prices: $79/person with a boat rental or $59/person if you use your own. Note: the Pow-Wow is a two day event. and our paddling event runs both days.
