How does it work? How do I get back to my car?
When you come to paddle with grand Experiences, you will park down river. Our shuttle will come and drive you up river to the starting point. You will then paddle back down river, back to your car. The reason for this is so that you can move at your own pace down the river. You don’t have to rush to get back to the shuttle nor do you have to wait for stragglers. When you’re finished your trip, you are simply back at your car and ready to go!
Do we need to make a reservation?
It is better to reserve ahead to avoid disappointment. We have scheduled shuttle times and our shuttles do get fully booked on some days. We do accept people without reservations as long as we can accommodate them.
How many people fit in a canoe?
There are 2 seats in a canoe meaning that a canoe will usually accommodate 2 adults. A child can also sit in the middle but they will be sitting on the floor of the canoe. You can put a third adult in the center of the canoe however; this makes the canoe more “tippy” and much harder to maneuver. We do not recommend putting three adults in a canoe.
