Smallmouth Bass on the Grand River This section of the Grand River holds “catch-bragging” rights for over 50 smallmouth in a day. Glen Morris- Paris waters have no restrictions on bait or barb. On this section there are so many spots that you want to pull over and try… the big “hens” are there… knowing how to get them is the challenge. The second challenge is getting back on time because the fishing can be so good~!
Smallmouth Bass On The Nith River The Nith River can be difficult to canoe in July, but the fish are worth the effort. This river is a continuous series of shallow rapids and boulder pools, along with sunken clay banks and submerged stumps. In the longer deep pools are pike and pickerel… but it is the smallmouth that dominates. There are no special restriction regulations on this river. It is high action and definitely worth the time to investigate. Whether it be old friends getting together… or father & sons… this trip is worth trying.
