Five Oaks Education and Retreat Centre is aptly named. Majestic oaks dominate the gently rolling landscape. Ancient willows dip their branches down and rustle in the breeze. The earth of the forest floor is dark and rich, feeding a variety of plant-life and supporting local wildlife. The canopy soars overhead and lets mottled rays of sunlight down to gently illuminate the space below. There are few places more restorative for the soul.
Also available as a hike only (not as part of a canoe trip) for groups of 6 or more. Unfortunately, it is not available for individuals.
