Grand Experiences is the place to teach your kids to canoe & kayak while giving them great summer experiences they'll always remember. We have been operating since 1997 and have won 8 Shining Star Awards, Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2008, and many others for service to the community. Grand Experiences staff are well trained ORCKA certified instructors who know how to create a fun environment for kids to learn in.
Since the 1990's Grand Experiences has been running Summer Day Camps for Kids 9 to 14 years old that teach valuable canoe and kayak skills. We have a reputation for ensuring that kids have fun learning new skills in a safe and comfortable summer camp setting where they also play camp games, swim, hike & go on adventures.
Your child will learn all about the history and nature of the area, make new friends, learn to canoe and kayak safely and competently, earn an ORCKA Canoe Certification by the end of the week, and get to be immersed in the beauty of the Grand River watershed every day. In fact, our campers enjoy their experience so much they often work for us later as students.
